A photo of the Recovery Team with their truck in South Vietnam 1971 - "We Pick Up Anything".  The photo was recently found in a box of photos located at 113 Workshop Coy Karrakatta.  Very little is known about the photo.

Thanks to Dennis Meek's comments below, more is now known about the above photo!

This photo was taken in 1970 not 1971 at 102 Field Workshops, RAEME, Vung Tau, Sth Vietnam. The person standing in the turret at back is me, Cfn Dennis Meek, person holding flag Sgt Bert Gough (The black portion in the centre of the flag is a pair of his wife's knickers), also sitting on bonnet of the wrecker at right is Cfn John Searle, standing (L) Lcpl ? Adams, (R) Cfn ? Marsden.

I am very interested in any of the RAEME Units that served in Vietnam at any time. I was with a CMF , then Army reserve Unit, namely 2 Fd Regt, L.A.D. and later with 2/15 Fd Regt L.A.D. and later as a name change to T.S.T. Most of the Senior NCO's in the LAD/TST, applied for overseas service but only two Sergeants went. We were informed when they returned we would go, but, that did not happen either.

My name is Dennis Meek, I am the one standing in the turret of the wrecker at the back. The photo was taken in 1970 at 102 Field Workshops RAEME, Vung Tau. I do have the names of all the others in the photo.
